The Knights of Columbus is a Catholic Family fraternal service organization. The organization was originally founded in 1882 by Father Michael J. McGivney and today numbers over 1.7 million members.
Our Lady of Hope Council was founded in 2000 through the efforts of the members of the Our Lady of Hope Parish. It is named after our parish, which was founded in 2000 by our Pastor, Fr. William Saunders.
The Our Lady of Hope Council works closely with Father Saunders in supporting the Parish by providing program support and funding to numerous projects in the Parish and surrounding community.
DECEMBER 2008: OUR LADY OF HOPE NAMED TO TOP 30 COUNCILS IN U.S.
Our Lady of Hope Council has been named a Top 30 Performing Council in the United States by the Supreme Council for excellence in programs, membership, and organizational structure. With some 13,000 active Councils, Our Lady of Hope is in the top 1/4 of 1% nationwide. This is testament to the men who make up this Council.
