 | Friend of Brother Jim Ryan, Doug Storer, passed away after a battle with cancer. - 09/23/2009 |
 | My good friend and colleague, Doug Storer has been battling lung cancer for the last few years and was in remission. He recently had a flare up and was told that he might have 14 more months to go. Sadly, he died yesterday, just one month later. He leaves his wife, Loretta, and 3 sons.
Doug was an optimistic and wonderful, joyful person to be around. His work ethic was phenomenal and born of his great love of all people; his customers and his colleagues. Doug was a real stand-out who enriched the lives of everyone he met. His life reminds us of what a great and loving God there is who imagines a person such as Doug and then created him, literally as His gift to the world.

I saw Jack and Susan at Mass over the weekend. He seems to being doing well and looks rather handsome without his hair. He asks that we keep him our prayers as he fights through his illness.
